Tremel considers volume transport to be a standard solution

Many of the goods transported with earthmoving vehicles are light, such as dry wood chips, sawdust or certain types of waste paper. The carrier is usually paid based on weight, meaning that a larger trailer volume leads to more return – and with that saves the environment and the resources!

The firm Trailer from Bechhofen has analyzed the rides over a longer period of time, and reached the conclusion that a 8-10 m3 volume increase compared to the vehicles deployed to date is possible without exceeding the maximum permissible weight.

“If, in the future, I will be able to save one ride every three days, while still supplying the customer with the necessary material, that will save a ton in money, and personnel costs. This means we’ll be using less fuel, and have a lower CO2 emission. We protect the environment and effortlessly meet the legal driving and resting times”, says Fred Tremel, owner of Tremel Entsorgungs und Transport GmbH.

Christoph Breitfeld, Kraker’s sales manager for Bavaria was given the assignment to develop a concept for a moving floor volume vehicle for earthmoving purposes in collaboration with the truck suppliers of the firm Tremel.
The result is a truck with a Kraker earthmoving trailer, in which a 100m3 cargo volume is actually available while observing the maximum total height of 4.000 mm!

In collaboration with Kraker service partner, the firm Distler from Weinfeld, the purchased earthmoving volume vehicle was equipped with all necessary facilities, such as the hydraulic system, and the combination was put together and prepared for use.
The vehicle has been in use for a couple of months, and Mr. Tremel states: “as expected, the transport weight has increased significantly. This way, the investment in the vehicle will pay for itself in no time.”

The driver is equally content with his new vehicle: “I have driven these types of vehicles before and I know what to pay attention to. This isn’t your everyday type of vehicle, and I am very pleased that the boss trusts me with it.
